Orbury Common
Around the next corner, under the surface and just out of reach lies Orbury Common: a world teeming with folklore, paganism, pastoral cults, lost memories and, of course, orbs. Through use of analog synthesis, sample manipulation and field recording techniques, the sound scientists who first unearthed evidence of this strange realm have attempted to extract the electro-acoustic residue left over from the many noisy rites and rituals of its ghostly inhabitants. This process is performed live in a musical séance, in which folk spirits, ancestral beats, and electrostatic interference is plucked from the air and translated into something resembling music.
